The client couple is entering the retirement stage. In addition to relaxation, they also look forward to having a suitable place for their personal living and social activities so that they can enjoy every moment with their friends, children, and grandchildren. With the theme of "Loop", the designer used sliding doors and intuitive circulation to connect the various areas. The space is divided to provide privacy yet maintain openness, and to strengthen the interaction and emotional connection between people.
The living room, where people spend most of their time, is decorated with stone and wood veneer. The large windows bring in sunlight and greenery to highlight the vitality of the house to heal the occupants' vision, body, and soul. The East-meets-West style can be seen in the trims, round tables, and grilles. The linear element extends the dimension of the space, complemented by curves and lines to outline the delicate texture, realizing the beauty of balance. The designer integrated the hobbies of wine collection and cooking into the interior design, planning full-height display cabinets and semi-open kitchen, and constructing a warm and cozy resident-oriented residence with thoughtful details.
