This is an architectural design project for a high-end residence. Due to the geographical nature of the project, the architect has taken the artwork The Gleaners by Jean-François Millet, a French artist and one of the founders of the Barbizon school in rural France, as inspiration and created an American-style manor. The unique design of a double-pitched roof was beautifully created. Since the project is located in a sparsely populated city with little human persecution of the natural environment, the architects and the owner reached a consensus to lower the volume of the building and design it with large floor-to-ceiling high windows so that the residents can enjoy the natural greenery with a distant view of the fields outside the windows. Standing outside the building, one will notice that the double-pitched roof design is a departure from the traditional hill-shaped pitched roof and is eye-catching. The exterior of the building is mainly made of imitation water stencil, stone paint, and wood grain tiles, which are laid on top of each other, presenting a simple, clean, and delicate texture. At the same time, each residence has large windows to bring in natural light and create a spacious and bright feeling. In addition, the low-density floor plan provides residents with more open space for use. In addition, parking spaces are planned for each building to meet the needs of residents living functions. The architects carefully planned the project and presented it with a unique double-pitched roof design instead of the common translucent building form. At the same time, the simple and pure color configuration makes the building in the middle of the garden a visual highlight and creates a picturesque view.
