The primary objective of this kindergarten spatial planning project is to establish a conducive learning environment that fosters children's holistic development and progress, igniting their inquisitiveness and motivating them to delve into new areas of knowledge. The design concept of the project hinges on "the story of children's exploration in the Magic Academy", incorporating fanciful illustrations throughout the spaces to produce a magical and awe-inspiring ambiance. This innovative approach constitutes a deviation from conventional kindergarten settings, providing children with an opportunity to engage in captivating storylines that bolster their drive to learn and thrive.
The team adeptly delivers educational concepts through creative and captivating illustrated stories that transport children to a world of enchanting fantasy adventure, unleashing their imagination to explore and discover without limits. The vividly portrayed characters and scenes serve as catalysts for their intellectual growth and free-spirited learning, instilling in them a deep-seated ardor for knowledge and appreciation for the vastness of the world around them.
During the initial design phase, the design team responsible for creating the children's activity area placed a great deal of emphasis on three essential factors: "permeability", "fun", and "safety". To achieve these critical goals, the designer decided to plan an open layout that would engage kids in a wide range of dynamic activities, promoting their physical development, coordination, and love of sports.
