A culinary culture passed down for thousands of years, the hot pot plays an essential role in Oriental culinary art and comes with historical background and human touch. This project is a hot pot restaurant planning case. Due to the hot pot’s crucial role in the Oriental food culture, the designer has resourcefully delivered the aesthetic concept of Oriental culture into the space, adding a touch of classical Oriental color so that diners can enjoy the food and appreciate the traditional Oriental cultural atmosphere when dining in the eatery. Standing at the restaurant’s entrance, one will be amazed by the wood veneer and green marble laid on top of each other, creating an elegant and warm vibe. Beautifully, the red lanterns hanging from the ceiling and the lounge chairs in the waiting area highlight the traditional oriental culture. Inside, simple light colors are arranged as the base, and dark classical oriental furniture is added to create a simple and elegant spatial form. On the other hand, the orchid plant, known as the "Queen of Orchids,” is placed as an embellishment to reflect the noble, elegant and extraordinary oriental charm. The partitions are designed with traditional oriental grates, creating an ancient atmosphere. The dining area is furnished with classical oriental chairs combined with modern design. The chandelier hanging above the dining table is a unique combination of traditional oriental red lanterns and contemporary lines. The designers cleverly conducted the artistic method of stone slab relief and indirect lighting to cast the wall decorations like ink-play landscape paintings, which is astonishingly spectacular. For this project, the designer uses warm wood and bold stone as the central axis of the space, together with ancient literary grates, antique lanterns, orchids and oriental aesthetic landscape painting imagery decoration, etc., to blend to create a space atmosphere with an oriental atmosphere.
